Gabe Perreault and Drew Fortescue led their second-ranked Boston College Eagles (2-1) against American International in a non-conference matchup that also served as the Eagles home opener. Perreault made sure the home fans went home happy with a 1-2-3 performance as the Eagles shut out AIC 5-0 to improve their season record to 2-1.
With his team on the power play and already with a 1-0 lead, Perreault makes it 2-0 with his second goal of the season. You will like watching this clip because the goal will remind of a certain number ten on the Rangers as Perreault found himself wide open on the right side and was calling for the puck.
When Perrault got the puck, he didn’t hesitate, he fired it at the goal, and it beat the AIC goalie. Watching Perreault looking to score goals is more entertaining than watching playmaker Perreault.

But that is not to say that Perreault the playmaker isn’t fun to watch either as in the second period, Perreault skated through three AIC defenders and sent a blind pass right on linemate Will Vote’s stick to make it 3-0. But Perrault had one more play to make as three games in and Gabe Perreault looks even better than the freshman version.

Perreault’s 1-2-3 night was on one shot with a +2 as he improves to 2-3-5 after just three games. Teammate Drew Fortescue was scoreless on one shot with a +1 and a minor for tripping.
Brody Lamb and his sixth-ranked Minnesota Golden Gophers (2-1) were on the road to take on rival Minnesota-Duluth in a non-conference matchup and this one was not for the faint of heart. Lamb scored his first goal of the year as his Gophers jumped out to a 4-0 first period lead but then had to hang on for a 7-5 win.
Lamb after starting the last game on the fourth line was moved up to be second line left wing. In the first period with his team already up 1-0 and on the power play, Lamb followed up his own shot and put in the rebound for the goal.

This is the Brody Lamb that we want to see more often as when Lamb decides to look for his offense, he becomes a lethal threat to score from anywhere on the ice. Lamb with his 1-0-1 night was credited with three shots (what we want to see every game) and a +1 as he improves to 1-1-2 after three games.
Rauol Boilard earned third star of the game honors with just one assist as his Baie-Comeau Drakkar fell to the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada 4-2 in QMJHL action. Boilard may have only had an assist on Drakkar’s second goal, but it was everything else that he did which is why he earned a star.
Boilard was 18-6 on his faceoffs, he was credited with five shots, and it was overall play that got the recognition of the home team a rare happening. The assist improved Boilard to 2-5-7 after nine games. The Drakkar are 6-4-1-0 for the season.
E.J. Emery was scoreless on one shot as his sixth-ranked North Dakota Fighting Hawks defeated the 21st-ranked Minnesota State 3-2 in non-conference play to improve to 2-0. Emery was the right-side defenseman on the second pair.
Rasmus Larsson was without a stat as his Northern Michigan Wildcats improved to 3-0 with a 2-1 win over Alaska-Anchorage in non-conference play.
Nathan Aspinall was scoreless on one shot with a -1 as his Flint Firebirds lost to the Soo Greyhounds 2-1 in OHL play. The Firebirds fell to 4-4 on the season.
