Ten New York Rangers prospects took to the ice on Saturday night with just enough offense to consider the evening as acceptable. Slowly we are getting to see some signs of consistent play from what can be called a fully healthy group of prospects.
Gabe Perreault recorded his ninth multi-point game of the season as the second-ranked Boston College Screaming Eagles knocked off fourth-ranked Providence College 3-1 in Hockey East play. Perreault would get Boston College started when he squeezed a shot just inside the right post at 7:06 of the first period giving his team a 1-0 lead off the even-strength goal at 7:06.
In the third with Boston College up 3-1, Perreault earned his second point of the game when he set up Teddy Stiga for an even-strength goal at 14:03 to put the game away. The win gave Boston College a sweep of the two-game series.
