Hello and welcome to the new home for the Prospect Park. Please excuse the mess as I am learning how to navigate all the various features of this new version.
Going to be excited about this new season as there are fifteen total prospects playing this season. Ten of the prospects will be playing at the NCAA Division one level.
Two are playing on teams playing in the USHL and a record low three prospects are playing in the Canadian juniors.
I made the switch back to WordPress in large part because it was way too hard to use video clips (specifically Twitter) over at Substack.
I am going to try to show as much of the highlights as possible. I am also working with others to create a new podcast that yes will talk the Rangers but also the prospects, those in the minors, hockey life in general and some hopefully interesting guests.
As always comments, suggestions, and requests are always welcome. Not going to lie if you came here for the writing skills of a journalist then you are in the wrong place (but I am attending school to become one).
I was trained to scout by some of the best minds in National Hockey League history. I won't get all of them right but I will try my best when bringing to you an honest objective evaluation of those chasing that dream of becoming a New York Ranger.
